The perfect piggy pattern for the preemie babies!
I have been wanting to design a piggy preemie beanie for the longest time, and finally got around to sitting down and doing it! The ears were the most challenging part to figure out- how to get that roundish triangle look. But here it is, and I think they came out adorably!
And how fun would it be for preemie triplets to wear these- the 3 little pigs!
For these beanies, I used a 100% cotton worsted weight yarn and a 4.25 mm crochet hook. You can adjust the size of the beanie by using a different yarn weight or hook size, or by adjusting the number of increasing rows on the beanie.
I hope this pattern inspires and enables you to crochet some Piggy Preemie Beanies for a NICU in your community!
