Materials
4.25mm crochet hook
1 skein Worsted-weight cotton yarn in your desired color (I used Hobbii Yarn Friends Cotton 8/8 in the colors Misty Green, Lilac, and Baby Blue)
1 skein Worsted-weight cotton yarn in Black
1 skein Worsted-weight cotton yarn in White

Sl St = slip stitch
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet
Note: This pattern is worked in joined, non-turned rounds. At the end of each round, Sl St to the top of the first St in the round as instructed, and do not turn before starting the next round.

Round 3: Ch 1, *2 Dc in the first St, 1 Dc in the next St* Repeat from * to * around. Sl St to the top of the first Dc in the round.
Round 4: Ch 1, *2 Dc in the first St, 1 Dc in the next 5 St* Repeat from * to * around. Sl St to the top of the first Dc in the round.
Rounds 5-9: Ch 1, 1 Dc in each St around. Sl St to the top of the first Dc in the round.

Eye
Make the Whites of the eye using white yarn:
Round 1: Ch 3, 12 Dc in 1st Ch. Sl St to the top of the first Dc in the round.
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 Dc in each St around. Sl St to the top of the first Dc in the round. Tie off, leaving an 12'' tail for assembly.
Make the Pupil using black yarn:
Round 1: Ch 2, 8 Sc in 1st Ch. Sl St to the top of the first Sc in the round. Tie off, leaving an 8'' tail for assembly.
Assembly
Using the remaining yarn tails and a tapestry needle, sew the Pupil to the Whites of the eye, and the Whites of the eye to the center of the beanie.
Use black yarn to embroider a smile below the eye.
