Watermelon Granny Squares

These versatile fruity granny squares are ready for summer!

I LOVED designing these granny squares!

Watermelon is one of my favorite things (as you may have been able to tell by my series of watermelon-inspired preemie designs), and I had to create a watermelon granny square!

Granny squares are so versatile and can be connected to create almost anything! I haven't yet gotten the chance to pull these squares together, but I'm thinking of a watermelon granny square bag! Comment if you're interested in seeing a watermelon granny square bag pattern :)

You'll need worsted weight yarn in green, white, and pink, and a little bit of black for the seeds! These are super quick to whip up, so you'll have a stack of melons in no time.

Happy crocheting!

I have the same problem. I believe round 4 is totally wrong. It should be hdc after the 2DC. Otherwise something is wrong with me 😜👓

What a super cute pattern! Can I please just check the last round is correct with each stitch being a dc? Should there not be hdc stitches also?
